Microsoft PowerToys version

v0.86.0

Installation method

PowerToys auto-update, Microsoft Store

Running as admin

Yes

Area(s) with issue?

General

Steps to reproduce

PowerToysReport_2024-11-28-16-27-40.zip

✔️ Expected Behavior

enabling "run at startup" should run PowerToys automatically after booting

❌ Actual Behavior

needs to be started by myself

details: lately, I've beenImage
struggling with the auto-startup of the app. It needs to be started manually after Windows startup manually every time even if the settings are enabled. Earlier it happened only when a new update was available but not downloaded/installed yet, but now it's up to date, but, this is really annoying! please fix this.

It looks like some of the settings json have been malformed and cannot be loaded. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling PowerToys? Does this issue persist? /needinfo
