Is it possible that the older installation was done with user-scope, and the latest is machine-scope? |

helloo!!? |
@SupBro5 it looks like the bug report you attached didn't attach correctly. Maybe you hit comment before it was done uploading. Could you try uploading it again? |
Sorry for the mistake. |
@SupBro5 from the bugreport it is not clear what is happening. Can you take these steps and report back:
|
I did the steps mentioned above. After I enabled and exited and launched again, I see that the option is disabled again!! It automatically disables, or maybe it shows that it will run at startup when I enable it but can't make a change in its program/files... I guess, and maybe that's why when I start the app again it shows that the option is disabled!!! |
@SupBro5 can you open Task Scheduler and open the PowerToys folder. Here is what mine looks like: ![]() That is where PowerToys tells Windows to launch when the user logs on. |
well in powertoys section...its empty!!! like theres no file or anything... |

Steps to reproduce
The app was working properly, all of a sudden, I noticed today that it isn't starting at startup! I went to the settings and saw that the "run PowerToys at startup" option was off, then I set back on and left. But after I restarted my pc, it didn't start up, I checked again and I see that the option for startup is again off, then I turned on and left app and came back right after closing the app and still see that the option was off, the option for startup automatically turns off, which is why it doesn't run at startup.
Thank you for your support!!
✔️ Expected Behavior
