New namespace - secrets "sops-age" not found

Got my copy of cluster-template up and running and I've tried to create a new namespace and ks app underneath that namespace following your same app structure. The namespace and kustomization for the app are successfully created but the kustomization fails to reconcile with the error secrets "sops-age" not found. I see all the namespaces created during initial bootstrap have a few secrets/configmaps (cluster-settings, cluster-secrets, sops-age). Also the kustomization I've created was modified to include /spec/decryption. Should I be running the cluster config again when creating new namespaces to populate these cm/secrets to new namespaces or something?

That secret should be applied via the common component

Which is referenced via the kustomization for the namespace

cluster-template/templates/config/kubernetes/apps/cert-manager/kustomization.yaml.j2

	- ../../flux/components/common

They way this works is that the namespace and secrets will be added before any flux ks lands within the namespace.

Does your new namespace have config like that?

I was indeed missing that and adding it resolved the issue, thank you!!
