dang this whole million fork situation makes it hard to have a central place for conversation, as forks don't have their own issue queues.

This is the repo of the original author, it's abandoned since 2017, which is what started this whole mess.

I was saying that user @avryhof has went through the trouble of making a different PyPi package, djangocms-forms-maintained instead of djangocms-forms. It was last active on April 28 this year. It's on https://github.com/avryhof/djangocms-forms

I'm not sure if he will respond, either, but if he does at least your updated version will be able to be installed through pip and we'll know we have a sort-of-canonical fork to contribute future fixes to.

Oh damnit, I did not notice that. Github has some strange logic, because I clicked on "Create Pull Request" in the right repository, but then Github switches to the original repository somehow. Unfortunately I cannot merge my Pullrequest trivially into @avryhof repository, as there are some conflicts. I currently do not have time to resolve them, but will take a look into it as soon as I can.
