Welcome to the Fuder wiki!

Application overview: Fuder is the app that gets a group together and decides where to eat based on everyone's preferences. The app allows the user to quickly set up their personal account with a facebook log in. Then they will input their cuisine preferences so it can be accounted by the app when making the group's decision. The original set up phone is the host device. After that, you'd invite the people you'll be having lunch with by inputting their email addresses onto the app. In the back end the application will send out an email with a unique link. The invitees will be able to say whether they are attending or not. And if they say yes to the invite, they will be sent to the website component of the app. There they will input their cuisine preferences. Meanwhile in the host device, the person would be able to see who has said yes or no. Once the group decides to go out to eat, the host device would close the group and the app would pick the cuisine, and even the kind of food, that everyone in the group agrees with. Then, the app will also show 3 restaurants in that category nearby the host location and for each of the restaurants it will display ratings, customer reviews and directions on how to get there. It is to our knowledge that our app is the only app available in the food app market that focuses on a groups decision of picking a place to eat at.

Reason for development: Fuder's purpose is not only to fulfill our application entrepreneurship class app but to solve a problem. When people go out to eat in a group, figuring where to go can become a problem. You have some people saying "I don't know" others saying "I don't care" and there are always those that are waiting for you to suggest a place to say "I don't like that" or "I already had it couple days ago". So we wanted people to be able to go out to eat in a group and go to a place based on everyone's preference. And that's what Fuder does.

Future Plans: Our current application is a minimum viable product as requested for our class. We plan to launch our app onto the windows app store and then branch out to the iOS and Android markets. But in the meanwhile, polish the Algorithms, and website component.
