Changing username reverts back to old username when exit settings

Element appears to let me change my username but reverts back to previous username

@githubuxer, maybe your homeserver is still on 1.19.0, because that synapse version has bug which prevents profile updates (display name, avatar) to propagate: matrix-org/synapse#8153

This is fixed with synapse 1.19.1 (from 2 days ago).

Ah, thanks for the information, so is that something done on the hosts end? As in Mozilla will eventually update the home server?

Yes, that is on the server end and Mozilla, as it uses Elements hosted versions, will update rather sooner than later.
