WIMM Labs was acquired by Google in 2012.
As members of the Innovator developer program for WIMM, News Reader was one of the first apps developed back in 2011 for this smartwatch. This application was shown as one of the main showcases for the wearable device, appearing in the covers of USA Today, Engadget, Laptop Magazine, etc.
