Changes made to any code in the React directory are not reflected when pressing Ctrl+R in a new window after running npm run watch

In addition to npm run watch, you have to run npm run watchreact.

Instead of running console commands, I recommend using a vscode-based editor. You can press Cmd+Shift+B, and all of this should happen automatically.
