Enhancement of protected content

Currently protected content works okay, but as far I know it hasn't changed much for a decade or more.

Especially now with Delivery API and headless project and the new backoffice, some enhancements would be great:

Furthermore Umbraco only support protected content nodes OOTB and to protect media nodes including the physical files one would probably use MediaProtect package although it doesn't seem to integrate with Umbraco Deploy transferring nodes between environments.

When a lot of content / media nodes need to be protected, it is tedious that login and error node need to be set each time (although it help when the protection can be inherited on some top-level nodes).
