Feature request: allow resizing the window

I have a system where at times all apps need to be maximized. This is for convergent system where in mobile view it is easier than floating windows (just imagine android).
While emote itself might not gain much, usability wise, in this mode it currently sits in the top left corner, leaving empty space around it, which looks pretty bad.

Consider that the initial size still can be set, as well as minimum size if the current size is not the natural minimum.
