Should we assign someone? :)

The whole world is watching, Richard.

@mitchsurp Can you elaborate please?

The branch of the executive office in the US does not regulate independent communities. The work building a more equitable world has always been the task at hand.

I read your smile emotion as sarcasm, suggesting SustainOSS would drop attempting to integrate DEI principles to mirror the federal US government. Was this not the case?

Heightened sensitivity to DEI programs and US companies rushing to scrub their inclusive initiatives from existence seems knee-jerk, as it appears to rhyme with regulating thoughts regarding diversity, equity and inclusion.

I apologize if your emotion was not "we shouldn't actually bother assigning anyone to this because DEI is going away and it's not a priority."

Should we assign someone? :)

This was meant to mean: Should we assign someone to this, or would anyone like to volunteer, so that it has a higher probability of being done soon. No sarcasm, just good intentions.

This work is absolutely a priority, and I wanted to prioritize it.
