JSDocs for descriptions not working

Summary

Storybook allows us to write JSDocs above the meta object to provide descriptions for stories. I've been writing my descriptions this way for some time now, but recently all of my JSDocs are not being picked up by storybook. As a workaround, I've moved the JSDoc descriptions into the meta objects parameters -> docs -> description -> component object; however, I'd like to know if anyone else has had issues with JSDocs not working as expected

Can you please provide a reproduction? And can you tell us in which version of Storybook JSDocs stopped working?

Hi @valentinpalkovic, sorry but I can not say with certainty which version of Storybook caused the JSDocs to stop working. I only know that I am using 8.6.2 and have tried using other versions of Storybook to solve the issue with no success.
Reproduction:

• In my main.ts file inside of .storybook folder, I have included storybook/addon-docs inside the addons array.( @storybook/addon-docs is also present in my package.json in devDependencies as ^8.6.2 and I have tried changing this version as well).
• core -> builder is set to @storybook/builder-vite
• framework -> name is set to @storybook/web-components-vite
• In my storybook files I have the JSDocs positioned above the meta objects ( this has been working up until now)
• I am running Storybook in Dev mode
