Grading status after submission deadline, before grading

Currently, we have:

'Attempted' means the student has saved for all the sub-questions,
'Attempting' means the student has saved for some but not all of the questions, and
'Submitted' means the student actually clicked the submit button.

In these three cases, the grading status should be "not graded". Currently, "Attempted" and "Attempting" gives grading status "not applicable" when mouseover.
