Copilot Stopped Working on IntelliJ Remote Dev since 1.5.35 release

Similar question is answered for normal IDE usage here, but it still doesn't work with remote IDE usage.

After 1.5.35, copilot suggestions appear in the IDE, but it's impossible to apply them, making the plugin largely unusable.

The plugin is installed on the client side, the same as earlier. It was working before the 1.5.35 release, in which Copilot started to use a different API for completions. It seems that it isn't yet workable for remote devs.

Our team is extensively using remote IDEs, please help to fix it!
