What would you like to be added?

I hate to bring this up because it feels trivial and "corporate", but I want to use oras as the foundation of a new product at my workplace and I'm afraid people are going to dismiss it because the logo looks like a kindergarten daycare. It gives me flashbacks to when I tried to bring formal verification to Meta, and couldn't have a real conversation about it because the language I was using was Coq.

I apologize in advance for the suggestion and will accept the down votes. I just want to use this and have been around the block too many times. Thank you for all your hard work, I appreciate this project a lot.

I don't know the history of the logo, but there may be a tiny bit of room for improvement.

Hi @eadlam , I am wondering why do you think the ORAS project logo looks like a kindergarten daycare? Do you have better ideas on its design?

Looking at other CNCF projects such as Argo, Jaeger, they have playful, cartoonish design but seems not a problem for their broad adoption in the industry https://www.cncf.io/projects/

@FeynmanZhou thank you for those examples. I agree the playful / cartoonish design is not necessarily the problem - the examples you linked look good to me. I'm not a designer, but the two things that jump out at me are:

1. cartoonish typography is ubiquitous among kid things
2. despite being an svg, something about the way the edges render looks like a raster image on the dark background, which makes it look like clip art

I like the rest of the page though.

If you have any logo proposals, I wouldn't mind seeing them. I'm not sure how others feel though.
