Crash with ember-power-select, convertion to addon v2 ?

The application crashes if you want to use the latest version of ember-power-select because it's a direct dependency and version 8 introduced breaking change.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I have the impression that ember-power-select is only used in the dummy-app and therefore the dependency isn't necessary for ember-models-table to work

I also wanted to know if there was a plan to migrate to the v2 addon format
