Validate for launcher - Window Walker opens when Capture2Text is launched #1976
Comments
@DannyDeLoach: By the way, the shortcut Win+1 is a default shortcut in Windows to run the first app pinned to taskbar. |
Forget this. My mistake. You can't change it. Do the issue disapear if you replace Win-key within the shortcut for Capture2Text. Then it seems to have to do with the following issue: https://sourceforge.net/p/capture2text/tickets/34/ Best regards. |
Window walker will be merged in shortly with the launcher code base. I don't think we'd really want to invest much time on this to be honest as any fix would be throw away work in a bit over a month |
this is a won't fix as we're migrating WW over to launcher |
we should validate this isn't an issue with launcher |
I apologize for not responding sooner. I misunderstood how Github notifies me of responses. So, I didn't see this until now. In response to @htcfreek's question, I changed the hotkeys for Capture2Text from (Win + 1 ) to (Alt + 1). After I did this, Window Walker no longer launches when I use the Capture2Text hotkeys. |

Additional information
I'm not sure if this is a problem with Window Walker or Capture2Text. I suspect it is a problem with Window Walker, which is why I posted the issue here. If the problem is with Capture2Text, please advise, and I will post the issue there.
