Search by year, month, day doesn’t work

Description

Hi, I was going through memories and came across a bunch of old photos I wanted to turn into an album. There’s no way to do this when going through the memory ( which would be nice, btw) so I tried to search for the day itself. I tried month day year and year month day and year, month but all I got was a magic search result with 1600 images that wasn’t even close to correct. Help!

I’m on an iPhone 16 pro max.
