Describe the bug

Instead of seeing M&P in the post excerpt on the home page, I see M&P instead. M&P is rendered properly in the text of the post itself.

Steps To Reproduce

Write The M&P Competitor at the start of a post.
View the excerpt on the home page.

Expected Behavior

See M&P.
