Hi
When I trying to open any file after I enabled VimAddin (checkbox "Vi mode") I get blank dialog box (see screenshot below). And when I close this dialog box, monodevelop closes itself too.

Hi, what version of MonoDevelop are you running the addin with? The addin is actually quite old at this point and I haven't had a chance to test it out against recent versions lately, so it may just be incompatible.

I have

  • MonoDevelop 5.9.6
  • VimAddin 1.1.11
on both Windows 10 and OS X 10.11.

What's intresting for me is that on OS X this plugin works, but on Windows it doesn't.
On Windows, I get the blank dialog mentioned above when opening a file, and the VimAddin section in Preferences is not properly loaded.

Same issue.
I lack vim vim-keybindings in MD very much : |
Would be great to reanimate this addin.

So, yes, this is still a problem. Install this plugin on a Windows machine, and monodevelop now immediately crashes on startup.

Anyone have a clue how to get rid of this crap? Because I sure would like to have monodevelop, you know, actually be usable at this point.

I can't believe this garbage is still available. If it's taking down machines this easily, WTF do you still have it published?
