VSVim has a nice feature where keybindings between Visual Studio and the Vim plugin can be configured, e.g. whether Ctrl + F gets handled by the IDE or by the Vim plugin. There should be a UI menu for this.

The only recent commit that seems to be of interest is f8bcb10550574372899ae925b6d19d811bcd26cf.
