I have searched and not found similar issues.
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
Sometimes fire trap whooshing sounds will start playing in a random part of the level. I've even had this happen in my level that i made from scratch without any fire trap or fire trap ambience sound in it.
Notably, in Shadow Warrior the shadow ninja projectile's use the same sound on loop (hard to hear over their normal explosion sounds). It would not surprise me if the shadow ninja's projectiles are leaving behind their looped sound effect sometimes when they disappear, as that is the only reasonable explanation i can come up with.
I think I reproduced this bug. It's related to the Guardians (green enemies).
On $boat, kill some Guardians but allow the corpse to stay. If the bug triggers, you'll notice the "whooshing" sound repeating from their corpse.
If you blow up the Guardian's corpse, the sound stops.
I had a save file handy for an older version of raze reproducing this, and I can put together another if requested. But basically, just kill Guardians until it triggers. It should happen in other maps too, like Rising Son.
