Hi,

are there plans to make the Session Extension available in better-sqlite3? Since version 3.13.0 it is directly available in the sqlite3 code via compile options.

This could be very helpful to synchronize sqlite3 databases.

Thanks for the great work that has gone into this project

There are no plans for this at this time, but I'll keep this ticket open to track interest/support.

Also interested in this. I've never done anything with native bindings. How much work is involved in this and where would be the easiest part to get started, or dip my toes in to get a better feeling for how difficult this would be to implement?

Anyone figure out an alternative? Or is this something easy enough we could “build” / “compile” ourselves into better SQLite3? Sorry not sure the correct terms for SQLite extension build stuff.

I guess what I mean by “compile ourselves” is whether it would be as “simple” as adding the session extension to the compile options and follow the instructions here? https://github.com/WiseLibs/better-sqlite3/blob/master/docs/compilation.md
