Q A
OS macOS / Linux / Windows
Shell bash
bashunit version 0.14

Summary

When installing the beta bashunit, the last commit displayed is wrong.

Current behavior

When installing the beta bashunit, the last commit displayed is from the proyect where we are installing bashunit instead of the last commit from bashunit itself.

hint: https://github.com/TypedDevs/bashunit/blob/main/install.sh#L30

How to reproduce

  1. Install the beta version (which will install the main branch)
  2. Check the version with bashunit --version

https://bashunit.typeddevs.com/installation#define-custom-tag-and-folder

Screenshot 2024-09-01 at 14 09 22

Expected behavior

The commit displayed when checking the bashunit version should be from the last commit from bashunit, not the proyect installing bashunit.
