No chat and broken hotkeys after reconnecting, Reproducible: OCCASIONALLY #94

steps to reproduce

-disconnected -reconnect

Expected results

chat should be working and pop up by pressing "Enter". hotkeys should still respond.

Actual Results

no chat at all, hotkeys no longer work

Possible workaround

no clue for the chat. mashing keyboard fixes the hotkey issue. (still trying to determine the order of actions)
