Might be nice to add a run function stop_when_dft_converges that periodically checks the relative change in a user specified DFT monitor and terminates after the relative change converges to some specified point. Similar to what @HomerReid does in his adjoint solver.
This would be an alternative to the stop_when_fields_decay run function. The two would probably be related by some 1/Fs scale factor?
