Fix latent_contexts.ipynb and optionally convert it to something other than a jupyter notebook

This notebook has broken. If we convert it to a CLI or one of those python scripts with %% in it that can be used in the VSCode jupyter notebook style window then it could be automatically refactored when function names etc. are updated, covered by CI, and maybe even covered by tests.
