What happened?

This has been happening for ages now but I've only just traced it to this extension (I thought it was my uBlock Origin, but no)
This does NOT occur with playlists or queued videos.

Environment: Windows 10 Home 64x

Expected: I can see the top video in my recommended feed.

Reality: When the Return YouTube Dislike extension is enabled, the next video in my recommended videos list (the one at the very top that YouTube typically autoplays) is hidden completely.

How to reproduce/recreate?

  • Open Firefox
  • Install Return YouTube Dislike
  • Open a YouTube video
  • Hover over the "Next Video button in the player". It will not match the top of the recommended feed.

Will you be available for follow-up questions to help developers diagnose & fix the issue?

Yes
